Collections

Fractanaturae's collections are made up of small pictures of butterflies, beetles, spiders and other insects, packets of minerals and shells, fossils and lots of other items all of which are completely authentic.

The pieces are accompanied with scientific information on the examples. We have in fact tried to create objects which don't only have an esthetic value but also have a useful didactic function , the idea on which our work is based.

Colours and shapes of subjects are original, absolutely natural and not altered artificially in any way, except for cases of small restoration. Insects and spiders have been dried and undergone disinfection treatments, to guarantee them lasting in time.

All our production respects the C.I.T.E.S (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) legislation and are made with wood certified by FSC (Forest Stewardship Council).

Personalised series

The collections have been produced in Italy by craftsmen methods. It is possible for special occasions or promotional gifts to create, on order, a personalised series.
